Baby Jogger Glider Board
The Baby Jogger Glider Board converts your single Baby Jogger pushchair to carry TWO children...or your Double Baby Jogger to take up to THREE children. It is suitable for use by a child of two years to a maxiumum weight of 20kg.
This is a quality construction with two sealed ball race bearings on each wheel and one on the pivot - so smooth running with minimum resistance. Each wheel has independent sprung suspension to make the ride more comfortable for the user. We've seen some boards made by other manufacturs of tacky plastic, this isn't it looks and feels quality - which is pleasantly surprising especially at this price !
The Gliderboard can also be fitted to some pushchairs made by other manufacturers if they have a suitable rear axle as the pushchair does not require a special fitting to mount a Glider Board so it offers an alternative to a Buggy Board.
There are some limitations on when a Glider Board will work - most important is that it will not work with the pushchair seat fully reclined. When a toddler first gets out of his/her pushchair to make way for a new baby this is when you may need a Glider Board most - but if the seat is fully reclined for the newborn then this takes up the space that the child on the Glider Board needs !
The Glider Board can be used with either a Carrycot of a Car Seat fitted, or with the standard seat in the upright position.
