The optional Carrycot converts your Mountain Buggy into a 'pram' for the first few months so that you can use it from birth. Health professionals recommend that new born babies should lay flat if possible.

The Carrycot completely replaces the standard seat which is stored for later use.
NEW DESIGN
Mountain Buggy have now introduced a new easy mount fixing system - the Carrycots are easier to clip on and off of the pushchairs, without the need for support bars.
They are also Universal to fit either the Terrain or Urban models - but the the carrycots for single and double pushchairs are not interchangeable.
Note that some of the pictures below show the old design using support bars but otherwise it looks the same.
