Easylife Quick Release Wheels

The Easylife rear wheels are quick release. It is worth noting that the size and shape of the pushchair is only significantly changed by removing the rear wheels not the front, so you can leave these on.

The benefit of removing the wheels is to make the pushchair more compact for storage or transportation and also to avoid transferring dirt from the wheels to the inside of your car. Removal of the rear wheels also reduces the pushchair weight by almost 2kg making it easier to lift into a car.

to remove the wheel
  • press the sprung loaded wheel locking button
  • pull wheel out

to mount the wheel
  • press the sprung loaded wheel locking button and insert axle into mounting tube until the lock clicks
  • always pull the wheel to verify that it's properly locked on

Easylife Parking Brake

The Easylife has a good solid steel foot operated parking brake with a positive sprung action that won't let you down.

By the rear axle running across the whole width of the pushchair is a foot operated brake bar.

To apply the brake push the brake bar down.

Once the lever has passed a certain point it springs down into place, locating a steel bar into cogs on both of the rear wheels - locking the brake on.

To remove the brake lift the brake bar up.

The Easylife is supplied with a safety wrist strap and we recommend that you always use this strap when walking so that if you should stumble the pushchair cannot run away from you.

For additional safety always try to park your Easylife pushchair facing across a slope or up hill of an obstacle, e.g. a tree or rock.
