Compared to the Flat-Away Kevlar Tape the Sureride Anti-Puncture Tape is a 'low tech' solution ... crude but possibly more effective in the low speed wheel of a pushchair. It might not be as good in the high speed wheel of a bicycle.

Sureride Anti-Puncture Tape is a flexible plastic strip with reinforced centre which fits between the tyre and the inner tube and offers considerable protection against sharp objects.

We can fit the tape to your pushchair for an additional £3

does not protect from thorns puncturing the side walls, it only protects the main body of the tyre tread

Quick Release Wheel Tube for Mountain Buggy Rear Wheels

This is a replacement part where the pushchair was originally supplied with quick release rear wheels. It is not possible to convert an earlier version of the pushchairs with 'removable wheels' to quick release wheels because the pushchair axle is different.

If you have lost the pin on your existing quick release wheels then you will need to replace the complete quick release wheel unit. In theory one could just replace the lost pin but once a pin has been removed the plastic does not retain a re-fitted pin as well and it will eventually fall out...which is probably how the first one was lost !

Easy to fit, instructions supplied

NOTE. To remove the wheel push the pin towards the centre of the wheel, if you pull the pin out then sooner of later you will lose it !

Safety Handle Wrist Strap

Replacement safety handle wrist strap, 120cm (47") long with a loop at each end

This is a good long wrist strap, we recommend that it is anchored onto a lower part of the pushchair frame (down by the basket) instead of the handle. There is a velcro near the wrist end so that you can store it at the handle. If the strap is anchored onto the top handled if you stumble and fall it is possible to accidentally pull the pushchair down back onto yourself !

Using a wrist strap is important for the safety of your child. Pushchairs with larger wheels offer little resistance to the ground, if you let go on a slope without a wrist strap then the pushchair can quickly gain speed making it impossible for you to catch up. It is good practice to use the a wrist strap as a matter of habit just as you automatically use the seat belt in your car.
