Seat Styles There are several different styles of seats available on the Mountain Buggy pushchairs providing differing types of support, all have a five independent point harness adjustable to three levels. This is where it may get a little complicated. The Mountain Buggy Terrain is available with either the Zip Hammock seat or the Terrain Recline Seat. The Mountain Buggy Urban is only available with the Urban Recline Seat which is a hybrid seat - it has the same seat base as the Terrain Zip Hammock and the same supportive back as the Terrain Recline Seat. Each seat type gives differing levels of support, angle of recline and therefore suitability for the various terrains it is used on and ages of child. The particular properties of each seat can be customised by the addition of accessories such as a: Head Hugger - to provide additional head and neck support Mini Snuggle Bag or Snuggle Bag - to provide cushioning as well as protection from the elements Body Harness - to provide a more secure fit for a baby

		Terrain Zip Hammock The best option for use off road. Two seat angles operated by zips on the back of the seat. In the lowest position it is suitable for a new born baby (BSI approved) but we would recommend from three months for light off road walks. A child can go on seriously rugged terrain walks where the only limitation is your ability to get a secure foothold. The seat material, both the seat base and the seat back are slung between the frame - effectively cradling the child and absorbing jolts and bumps from the terrain.


		Terrain Recline Seat The best option for a new born baby if a Carrycot isn't used. Variable seat angle operated by straps on the back of the seat. In the lowest position it is only 15 degress above horizontal and is suitable for a new born baby for use around town or from three months for light off road walks. On rugged terrain a child may be bounced around. The material on the seat base is lightly tensioned between additional metal frame work. The seat back contains a flexible board at the top behind the head area - supporting the child but not really absorbing the jolts and bumps from the terrain.


		Urban & c://drive Recline Seat The only option on the Urban. Variable seat angle operated by straps on the back of the seat. In the lowest position it is only 15 degress above horizontal and is suitable for a new born baby for use around town or from three months for light off road walks. The material on the seat base is slung between the frame - effectively cradling the child whilst the seat back contains a flexible board at the top behind the head area - supporting the child but not really absorbing the jolts and bumps from the terrain.
